The Honors' Assembly is Tuesday, May 22nd at 10:00 for 3rd and 4th grade. 

The LAST DAY of school is May 24th, and we will dismiss at 11:30 AM. Report cards will be sent home with students or may be picked up in the office Thursday and Friday from 8:00- 11:30 AM.

Fall Festival is this Friday!!  Please turn in the form and money for the wristband and the Laser tag form.

Here are the dress-up days for Red Ribbon Week (October 23-27th):

Monday- A Drug Free Life ROCKS and ROLLS! 50th day of school
(Dress like they did in the 1950s!) 
Tuesday- Sock it to Drugs! (Wear Crazy Socks)
Wednesday- Your Future is Bright When You Stay Away From Drugs! 
(Dress up as what you want to be when you grow up)
Thursday- Put a Cap on Drugs! (Wear a hat or cap)
Friday- Team Up Against Drugs! (Wear your favorite team colors)

School will be closed Monday and Tuesday due to impending weather. All school activities are cancelled. Evaluation concerning school opening for Wednesday will take place Tuesday evening. I will let you know when I find out more information.

Welcome to 4th grade!  I hope you are having a wonderful summer and getting excited about this upcoming school year!  I know we are going to have a fun and successful year together!  I can't wait to meet all of you!  :) Below are some important dates, information, and the Supply List.

These items will go into a general classroom box and do not need to have your child’s name on them. Please bring these items to Back-to-School Night:

3 packs of loose-leaf paper (wide-rule)
2 packs of white copy paper
1 pack of graph paper
6 plastic pocket folders with prongs
(solid primary colors preferred) 
2 packs of colored copy paper
(no card stock/construction paper) 
1 box of band-aids
5 bottles of liquid hand soap
2 containers of Clorox wipes
3 rolls of paper towels
1 bottle of hand sanitizer
4 boxes of Kleenex
4 boxes of pencils
1 box of gallon size Ziplock bags
1 box of quart size Ziplock bags
1 4-pack of Expo dry-erase markers

These items will need to be labeled with your child’s name. Please bring these items to Back-to- School Night or on the first day of school:

1 pair of scissors
2 boxes of crayons
1 pack of colored pencils
1 pack of washable markers
1 pack of 5-subject dividers with pockets
(dividers should be placed in binder)
1 3-ring pencil pouch
1 Trapper Keeper or Zip-Up Binder
(1 1⁄2” or larger)
2 large glue sticks or 4 small glue sticks
2 bottles of liquid glue 
1 pack of red pens

Boys: wet wipes    OR     Girls: kitchen size garbage bags

Please have the following items at home: loose-leaf paper, pencils, and crayons.

* You will need to purchase an agenda pad that will cost $5. 

*A donation of $40.00 will be taken during Meet the Teacher/Back-to-School Night. A large portion of this money will go directly to the classroom, which includes technology and many other programs that are vital to the success of Margaret Elementary School.  We appreciate all donations!!
