Welcome to 4th grade!  I hope you are having a wonderful summer and getting excited about this upcoming school year!  I know we are going to have a fun and successful year together!  I can't wait to meet all of you!  :) Below are some important dates, information, and the Supply List. 

§  Meet the Teacher: August 2 from 1 - 6 PM
§  First Day of School & Picture Day: August 8

Please visit this site often!  Once school starts, I will have newsletters and homework posted each week.  I also have some great websites and math games for you and your children to go ahead and check out now!  Feel free to check out the "About Me" section to learn a little bit about me!

Parent/teacher communication is extremely important for a successful year.  You child is important to me, and we are on a TEAM together!  I want to do all I can to help your child be encouraged, challenged, successful, and excited about learning!  I know it is possible with us working together!  Please feel free to contact me any time at katherine.white@sccboe.org

* NO MECHANICAL PENCILS, CORRECTION FLUID, OR HAND-HELD PENCIL SHARPENERS *

These items will go into a general classroom box and do not need to have your child’s name on them. 
Please bring these items to Back-to-School Night:

3 packs of loose-leaf paper (wide-rule)
2 packs of white copy paper
1 pack of graph paper
6 plastic pocket folders with prongs
(solid primary colors preferred) 
2 packs of colored copy paper
(no cardstock/construction paper) 
1 box of band-aids
5 bottles of liquid hand soap
2 containers of Clorox wipes
3 rolls of paper towels
1 bottle of hand sanitizer
4 boxes of Kleenex
4 boxes of pencils
1 box of quart size Ziplock bags
1 4-pack of Expo dry-erase markers

These items will need to be labeled with your child’s name. 
Please bring these items to Back-to- School Night or on the first day of school:

1 pair of scissors
2 boxes of crayons
1 pack of colored pencils
1 pack of washable markers
1 pack of 5-subject dividers with pockets
(dividers should be placed in binder)
1 3-ring pencil pouch
1 Trapper Keeper or Zip-Up Binder
(1 1⁄2 ” or larger)
2 large glue sticks or 4 small glue sticks
2 bottles of liquid glue 
1 pack of red pens
Earbuds for the computer lab

Boys: wet wipes    OR     Girls: kitchen size garbage bags

* You will need to purchase an agenda that will cost $5. 

*A donation of $40.00 will be taken during Meet the Teacher Night. A large portion of this money will go directly to the classroom, which includes technology and many other programs that are vital to the success of Margaret Elementary School.  We appreciate all donations!!
